Welcome to Minoru, a charming café nestled in the heart of Sasebo, Nagasaki. If you're looking for a delightful retreat that combines cozy ambiance with exquisite culinary treats, Minoru is the perfect spot. Tucked away at 1 Chome-11-3 Gonjoji, Sasebo, this local gem has become a beloved destination for both residents and visitors alike.

The moment you step inside, you'll be enveloped by the inviting atmosphere, where minimalist decor meets a blend of comfort and cuteness. It's the perfect place to warm up with a cup of coffee while enjoying the delightful murmur of conversations around you. The café is popular, often bustling with patrons eager to indulge in the tantalizing offerings on their menu.

Minoru is particularly known for its mouthwatering desserts. Patrons rave about the blueberry basque cheesecake, dubbed “to die for” by customer Dee Davis, suggesting it’s a must-try for anyone looking for a sweet escape. For those who prefer a more savory experience, the cream pasta paired with a hot latte adorned with adorable latte art has also received high praise from both local and international guests.

Special offerings like their unique donuts provide an added layer of excitement, and as Rosie Settles highlights, everything from pastries to drinks is simply delicious. Yoshimi Tashima's review emphasizes the charm of their beautifully crafted café lattes, stating that experiencing such cute presentations truly uplifts your spirits. And with limited lunch dishes that are claimed to be equally delightful—like their juicy hamburger and fresh vegetables—there's no shortage of reasons to visit.

While Minoru’s inviting space often leads to a busy atmosphere, it emphasizes a community charm that makes every visit special. Be prepared for some wait times, especially during peak hours, as Foo T notes, the popularity is well-deserved! On your visit, keep in mind that parking can be limited, so consider carpooling or arriving early.

With friendly service—just be sure to have Google Translate handy for the menu if you're not comfortable with Japanese—you'll feel right at home in no time. It's a humble yet comfortable nook in Sasebo that provides the perfect backdrop for any coffee lover or dessert aficionado.

If you're craving a delightful café experience where every bite and sip is crafted with care, look no further than Minoru. Whether it's for a casual afternoon coffee or a special treat, make sure this café is on your list when you visit Sasebo!

very little parking, think about car pooling. Yummy dessert, adorable latte art, and delicious coffee. Kind service (use google translate to read menu if you don't speak or read Japanese) card and yen accepted! humble and comfortable seating, but likely would be cramped with a car seat or stroller.
